Many amazing, incredible, gifted beings who inhabit my life and my heart.
I am in awe of them all.
There are hundreds of different reasons why I love and cherish these people, because they are each incredible in their own uniquely glorious way.
Today I want to celebrate one of my friends. A very dear friend who I adore, respect and look up to.
She is a busy working Mumma.
She loves and adores her kids. Nurturing, teaching, guiding and celebrating them in ways that inspire others (like me) to up their own game.
She has created a sanctuary for her family, a retreat, a place for them to come home to and be together while resting and restoring.
She is making an enormous difference in many lives through her work. She is driven and she is caring and I know she gives one hundred percent to everything she does…..In fact there are people in this world today, living better lives as a direct and indirect result of this remarkable lady.
She is organised, reliable and dependable. She always does what she says she is going to do.
She is generous, that wholehearted generous that stops people in their tracks and leaves them basking in the warmth of her kindness…..I know because I have been the recipient of her generosity countless times.
She is funny, oh yes she is funny. She has a clever humour that spills out beautifully in her writing and in her speech. She can add a lighthearted spin to many a tricky situation.
She is thoughtful, never one to miss a birthday and always finding the time to celebrate with the special people in her life.
I could truly go on all day and yet, I dare say, my dear friend will read this and not even realise it is her.
You see she does not see herself the way I see her.
She will deflect my compliments.
She will point out her flaws.
She will tell me all the things she has not done and overlook the value she disperses into the world each and everyday.
If only my friend could see herself as I see her.
She would accept and wear her compliments with a blushing pride.
She would celebrate her achievements with a smile that lights up the world.
She would stand tall and proud with her chin to the sky.
She would sing her own song and then dance to it with wild abandon.
She would be carefree and at ease.
She would rest without guilt.
She would know she is enough, she is more than enough.
Now that would be truly amazing.
Is there someone you know who is unaware of how incredible they are???
Could it be you?
Often we downplay our accomplishments and generosity so much all we can see are our faults.
Today I want you to know you are glorious and that is enough, more than enough.
For the next 7 days I am celebrating the incredible by writing a card, an email or a text to one exceptional person each day to quite simply tell them how fabulous they are to me.
My simple offering of gratitude for the value they bring to my life and to this world.
Want to join me???
7 days 7 people.
We all have only one great life, let’s see how many others we can help to live more fabulously?

What a great post – and a great idea! Count me in, Karen. 🙂
I know just the lady to start with, too.
Thanks Kim, let’s send those awesome kindness notes out into the world.
