I completed this months photoaday…………..Pause while I high five myself
You can read about the 6 things I learnt from my first Photoaday Challenge here.
This month I continued to have fun and play with both my camera and my ever increasing number of Iphone apps……curious I wrote about my top 6 here.
By the way 6 is my lucky number….6 apps, 6 things
I unleashed my creative monster and played around with many different techniques, styles and editing tools. I am slowly noticing my own unique style emerging the more I fool around and enjoy the freedom of wild experimentation.
It has become such a creative moment in my everyday I have decided to continue with a new little twist for September.
The Thirty Day Self Portrait Challenge. The rules say I have to be in the photo in some way and I must take the photo myself.
I will show you all the results in a month, or you can follow along on Instagram with my own hashtag #fabphotoaday
Go wild this month and join me.
Oh and of course stay Fabulous

Karen, what you are getting from your photo challenges are exactly what I hoped for when I started. I wasn’t very good at it but I may have to try again. I can SEE your creativity soaring!!
Tressie that is the most fantastic compliment from a real life hunky dory photographer no less. I was doubting myself a lot as I have no photography training and often my experimentation come from trying to work out what happens when I change things on the camera settings. The prompts for the photoaday monthly challenge are a huge help to get me thinking, it will be interesting to see how I go without them. Thanks again I have an extra spring in my step today.
Karen, never doubt yourself. You are very creative – anyone can get the technical stuff with practice, but not everyone has the creative eye and drive like you. Go girl!! Also, if you get stuck, check out the app Split Pic – it looks like a fun way to do selfies 🙂
You know I don’t mind a selfie or two
