There is a secret bliss to be found in the small and seemingly ordinary moments in our lives. The moments we often skim over without extracting all their juicy goodness.
Each week I share a collection of Ordinarily Fabulous moments from the week. Moments to inspire us all to take notice of the unexpected joy surrounding us.

Fabulous Moments
Last week included very long weekend for us in Melbourne, Tuesday was a public holiday to celebrate The Melbourne Cup, an international horse race. Yes and we all get the day off, it also means that many schools and workplaces take the Monday off too. A four day weekend, fabuloso!!!
It was particularly special for us as we celebrated Master 6 becoming Master 7.
And our wedding anniversary.
Yummy, lots of cake, bubbly drinks and no guilt for a few days. My sort of fabulous.
I am also enjoying using my very own Photoaday list. You can follow along on Instagram.
Remember it is never too late to join in, all the details are here.
I am walking 50km next Saturday in the Upstream Challenge. I am nervous, worried about how uncomfortable it will be, where I may hurt and how soon the pain will start. How long will my mind have to force my feet to tread when they are screaming to stop. Yesterday I set out for a short training walk. It was lightly raining and the wind was howling through the trees. The path I was on is lined with back fences, endless brown planks offering privacy to the homes behind them. As I trudged along I glanced up to see this little beauty poking her head over the fence, cheerful, happy and offering me a spot of fabulous in an ordinary moment.

“I sometimes shlog through incredible traffic to get to where I need to go, on an electric scooter this is super not fun. I feel exposed and fragile sitting on my e-bike. So when I see a burst of balloony beauty like this while I am stuck in a traffic jam it makes me smile and feel like a kid at a fun fair!” – Corlie
I love how the balloons pop up out of the craziness. Thanks for the share Corlie this is fabulous stuff in your ordinary day.

Brilliant! Thanks Karen for sharing my photo 🙂 I love seeing ordinary things become fabulous because of a positive mindset. Good luck with the walk, 50km is a massive amount of walking to do in a day, I hope it goes well!
Corlie that is the difference, a positive mindset. Once you have that the world is full of fabulous.
I think there are extraordinary moments in every day…we just need to remember to look for them! Thanks for the reminder! 🙂
