What if by doing one less thing today, you were able to enjoy a simple moment of your day more???
What if you don’t make the beds today and enjoy long conversations and furious giggles with the kids over breakfast???
What if you have takeaway tonight and instead of cooking play board games???
What if you leave the dishes until the morning and then read a magazine in the bath???
What if you fold the clothes tomorrow and read an extra chapter of your new book???
What if you don’t check Facebook and go for a walk with your hubby???
What if by doing one thing less you could gain so much more?
Could it be that simple?
What if this was just for one day?
Could you do it?
What would happen?
What would be fabulous?
What would you do less of?
Leave me a comment, I would love to know.

You’re right Karen. Less is more. The problem is that I have to be careful I don’t fall into the habit of putting things off. For example – I should have mowed the lawn yesterday when it was sunny yet I took the dog for a walk instead. I could have mowed it and walked her in the afternoon. Pouring here today and yes, will walk the dog and notice as I leave the yard, that the lawn is LONG overdue for a cut. Balance. I need to work on balance!
Kelly walk the dog, the lawn will wait……those jobs never seem to run away
Everyone gets 24 hours in a day – it’s up to us to decide how we spend that valuable commodity.
I definitely enjoy taking a “less is more” recovery day after a super busy one, though. Great way to rejuvenate – and spend cuddle time with the kids.
Kim, I love the idea of a recovery day, a whole day intended to restore…….aghhhh YES
