I sat down, my pen poised, ready to capture the essence of the conversation.
The essence of the message woven in amongst the hundreds of words about to be spoken.
I sat comfortably forward, intent and eyes fixed.
The words flowed and flowed.
I took notes in point form so as not to miss a thing.
A brief pause.
A simple question to extend the richness of this interaction.
The words flowed again.
I felt my own energy rise, my excitement building as we discussed the present and the future.
Plans, goals, dreams, desires all came tumbling out.
There was a rich and vibrant picture forming.
An exquisite future filled with joy, growth, success and meaning.
Actions were agreed upon, notes taken.
A new time scheduled and farewells offered
I was energised, delighted and ready to begin pinching myself.
I had discovered my purpose and my bliss.

I am slowly but surely finding my purpose. Now that my kids are basically grown an doing their own thing it’s like you have to readjust and figure out what your purpose is. I’m figuring it out little by little. Stopping by from SITS
I agree, once my kids were both going to school I was left searching for my purpose too, I can only imagine the shift continuing as they get older.
