It was a dream that was born,
Many, many years ago.
The tiniest of seeds,
Its potential unknown.
Just a stirring at first,
A tug then a pull.
Sending my attention,
To a place I burst full.
It was that incredible feel,
As a child I knew well.
Brimming with delight,
As possibility starts to swell.
That childhood belief,
That all dreams can come true.
That when we grow up,
We can be all we want to.
I reignited the passion,
A grown up who dreams,
It is scarier now,
At least that’s how it seems.
Deliriously excited,
Scared and unsure.
It is a rollercoaster ride,
And I actually want more.
I cry out to the wilderness,
Please guarantee my success.
Send me some reassurance,
That may devour all my stress.
The path of uncertainty,
Is where wild dreams are made.
Beginnings so wondrous,
That new steps must be laid.
A blank sheet of paper,
A vision to paint.
Where to begin?
What to create?
A new job, a new boss,
Its bigger than this.
A new career, Yes that’s it,
That’s what scares me to bits.
The seed that was planted,
A decade ago.
Now fed with enthusiasm,
Has started to grow.
A sapling has emerged,
it grows taller each day.
Spreading its branches,
A dream on the way.
I tend to it regularly,
It is so fragile and new.
Needs care and attention,
When self doubt, blows on through,
The breaking of dawn,
A new beginning each day.
Believe like a child,
What will you dream today?

Today’s dream is for accomplishment of existing goals, to be followed by big change. I’m ready for a change!
Kim, go get ’em. Sounds like an exciting change is on the way.
Today’s dream was to write a post that’s been on my mind for a long time. Tick. Done.
Here’s to watering our saplings Karen.
Watering away Kelly. I enjoyed your post too.
