Christmas, Creativity and Pinterest a winning combination.

December 12, 2013 By Karen Main 4 Comments

At the moment I cannot find enough walls, shelves and places in our home to display all the artwork the children are creating for Christmas.

I always remember making paper chains as a child and the endless glueing of cotton balls to paper as we created beards for Santa.

Christmas is a creative time and not only for children.

Grown ups we too have a playground and I want to invite you over to my swing set for a while.

A little note, if you are reading this in an email you may find a much pretty version in your browser.

Pinterest, is where I love to play. It is absolutely bursting with ideas and inspiration, most of which is intended to be done by you and me in our very own homes.

Xmas creativity

Come take a look at just a few of the fun and easy projects I have found.

Cute printables for the kids to use when writing that important list for Santa

This is so cute and simple.

Gorgeous.

Love decorating my mantle, my buffet and even my shelves with ideas like these.

Effective and easy.

Elegant Christmas.

Christmas is that time of year when we can all indulge our creative urges.
Grab some glitter, some glue and a few baubles and away you go.
Turn it into a family moment and see what everyone can create.
You will be making treasured keepsakes for years to come while creating magical Christmas memories.

Creativity and Pinterest a winning combination

Christmas a fabulous time of year.

{Melinda} Wish I had the time to make all these beautiful creations! The candy cane centerpiece is my favorite. And yes, enjoy all those art projects from your kiddos. My kids are 17 and 13 now and I miss those days!

Melinda, I made the candy cane centrepiece last year, gorgeous and easy. I am aware these crafty days with the kids are limited and aim to enjoy all I can.

I love those ideas you found! The candy cane centerpiece is adorable and the chandelier thing looks like something my daughter has been trying to put together. What fun!
