So much I want to tell you,
So much there is to know.
The time is passing quickly,
How rapidly you grow.
You were born absolutely perfect,
With everything you need.
Personality, skills and talent,
To hold you in good steed.
There is no one else quite like you,
No one in this world.
A decadent mix of awesome,
Together has been swirled.
Get to know your treasures,
Cultivate your strengths.
The world is a fabulous playground,
Don’t limit yourself out there.
Dream big, the biggest dreams of all,
The ones that stretch your wings.
Spread them wide and soar above,
You are destined for great things.
Push beyond your boundaries,
Your comfort zone will entice.
Don’t limit yourself to safety,
Adventures life’s juicy spice.
Be authentic and be genuine,
Proud of who you are.
The best advice I have to give,
The truth will take you far.
There will be times you question,
Your abilities and yourself.
I want you to remember,
You are incredible nothing else.
Listen to your wisdom,
Focus on your desires.
Living life with passion,
Is what will lift you higher.
This gorgeous space of learning,
The one you are in right now.
Keep that door wide open,
Always grow your mind somehow.
Childhood wonder never lost,
Is my wish for you.
Sing and dance your way through life,
To chase away the blue.
When darkness ever comes to fall,
I make this promise now.
Reach out, reach up and call my name,
I will be beside you somehow.
The wonder you now see in the world,
The treasured gift you bring.
You show me time and time again,
Happiness in little things.
You are an incredible blessing,
Words cannot express.
How honoured I am to be your Mum,
I love you, nothing less.
Wishing all the Mums out there a fabulous Mothers Day this weekend

Children are sponges for everything we say, good and bad. Words carry more power than we know. These are beautiful, strong, empowering words for you children to draw from and live by. Framing a copy for each one to keep will be a constant reminder (even on those rough days) of how special they are and how much you love them.
Susan, yes our kids are sponges, soaking up our words. I will frame this poem for each of them.
