If you are reading anything online at the moment it won’t be long before you stumble across goal setting ideas, resolutions to consider and ways to change your life in 2015.
It is very tempting to grab pen and paper, face forward and focus on setting juicy goals for the new year.
To decide what you want to change, what you want to improve and make a plan based upon this.
It becomes easy to focus on the improvements and neglect what is already working well.
When do you stop and celebrate your achievements?
How will you capture what has worked well and find ways to do more of this?
How will you continue to build upon the strengths of last year?
So before the sunsets on this glorious year and you begin to pull apart your life, looking for ways to improve, ask yourself?
What worked well in 2014?
What felt good?
How did I contribute?
What am I proud to have made?
What did I do well?
And in 2015 do more of this.
Add to it.
Keep it simple and make a plan to do more of what already feels good.
This is your one great life, celebrate YOU and then make a plan to lead life fabulously.
Happy New Year everyone.

Oh Karen I love this idea! I’ve just sat down to start my post on my new year’s goal, but I’m going to first look back on what worked in 2014 and acknowledge it for being good!
Happy new year!
Happy New Year Corlie, an amazing year ahead for you and my thoughts are often with you.
Enjoy the celebration of this years wins as you look back on your wonderful year.
Love this positive twist on focusing first on the “wins” versus the fails. I predict 2015 is going to be an amazing year for you, Karen! Cheers
Thanks Debbie, there is so much to celebrate and build on before we rush to make changes. I wish you a Fabulously Happy New Year as well.
2015 is going to be fabulous, indeed! Thanks, as always, for the inspiration. 🙂
My pleasure Kim and Happy New Year.
