28 Lovely Days of Grateful

March 1, 2014 By Karen Main 18 Comments

One by one the images filled the screen, 28 in all, each one capturing a moment of joy, of happiness and of gratitude.

January 29th, 2014 was the day I stopped being grateful because I was happy, and became happy because I was grateful.

It was the beginning of my regular gratitude practice.   A few minutes each day when I pause and consciously consider my life and all that I have to be grateful for.

For the month of February, yes each and every one of those lovely 28 days, I chose to capture this moment in a daily photo and write a short post about it.

Here is the full collection of 28 photos in a fun and happy slideshow.

I have so much to be grateful for.

Loved that video! It made me smile and through it I discovered something to be grateful for today. You all…my amazing blogging friends. The people I meet through this much loved hobby of mine. I am truly grateful that you came into my life…I am inspired each and everyday by your light. 🙂

The song choice is wonderful! That song has been growing on me more and more lately. At first it didn’t click. Now it certainly has!
What beautiful photos and what a beautiful month. I wish I had taken more time to photograph the little things, as well as enjoy them.

Oh the music and the photos! Perfect together. You had such a very different February to mine here in the Northern Hemisphere. Man alive. Sorely tempted to chuck everything and book a flight. However I shall reign in that temptation and opt for a pedi. Thank you for this tonic of a post.

Nicole it was my first month ever doing this and looking back the photos captured so much I am grateful for in my life. I am planning to print them on a poster now too.
